About me

Hi! I have worked in the field for twenty years. I specialize in partnering with my clients to explore life purpose, spirituality, and meaning. I have a compassion-focused approach which utilizes tools from Parts-Work Theory, CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and Somatic (body-based) awareness.

I work best with individuals who are embarking on change, are interested in improving relationships, communication, processing grief, and moving from trauma into post-traumatic growth. My style is collaborative, and curious, honoring each client’s wisdom. I welcome those who are ready to slow down, turn inward and create meaningful change.

Outside of sessions, I enjoy walking by the ocean with my dogs, swimming, yoga, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. I am always learning something new in order to keep growing personally and professionally. These practices inform my belief that healing happens in connection with self, others and the world around us.

Savannah is a fantastic counselor. She helps me tackle the issues I face in an interesting, objective way that doesn't feel intrusive. I hope that she's able to continue helping many people help themselves.

I’ve had a lot of bad luck with counseling throughout my years of trying to find help but Savannah definitely changed my mind. She was so patient with me and allowed me to go through my thought process and help me through my emotions. She offered resources of books and videos that helped me change the way I think about myself. She always listened to me, and never judged anything I said or felt and I appreciate that so much. I feel that I have some tools now that I can take with me in my daily life to help me heal and cope. Thank you Savannah.

It's difficult for me to trust counselors, but I really trust Savannah. I can't begin to explain how much help she has been to me and how much I enjoy having here as a part of my support system.

I was matched with the perfect person. Savannah seems to know exactly what I am going through and what I need to feel better. Her exercises she sends are extremely helpful as well. I highly recommend her.
