503-208-3051cassandramitchell@me.comFemaleMy approach to therapy is based on the belief that everyone has an innate capacity for healing and growth. As we adapt to life's challenges, however, we sometimes get stuck in long-term patterns of thinking, feeling, behaving, or relating to others that ultimately limits our growth and leaves us feeling sad, lonely, overwhelmed, anxious, angry, or fearful. I work collaboratively with clients to help them identify, understand, and change these patterns that keep them feeling stuck so that they can move towards a life and relationships that are more fulfilling and connected. I provide counseling for couples and individuals seeking help for a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, communication difficulties, affairs, difficulties with trust or intimacy, or difficult life transitions. I welcome clients with diverse backgrounds and identities. I have experience working with clients of all sexual orientations, genders, and relationship orientations including polyamory and other forms of consensual non-monogamy.
